About Automata Network (ATA)

Automata Network is a machine attestation layer built by humans, designed for machines. TEE Coprocessors isolate computation in secure hardware for execution integrity and verifiable trust. Additionally, Automata’s Proof of Machinehood allows for machines to be provable on-chain.

Automata is also now part of the Optimism Collective! We join an expansive network of chains built on Optimism’s open-source standard codebase, the OP Stack. Of note is also that the rollup uses ATA as its default gas token, and is part of our vision in building out a machine attestation layer for Web3. We want to further our work within the Superchain, and thereby further the Superchain itself.

The Automata Developer Grant is aimed at builders who are using TEEs to push the boundaries of innovation. Whether you’re developing tooling frameworks, building decentralized applications, or conducting applied research to advance TEE integration within blockchain infrastructure, we’re ready to support your project with funding, resources, and technical guidance.

Our primary goal is to fund projects that utilize TEEs in a meaningful way. We encourage builders to explore how TEEs can be combined with other cryptographic primitives like Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZK), Multi-Party Computation (MPC), or Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) to unlock new use cases in Web3.
