About Hyperlane (HYPER)
Hyperlane is a permissionless interoperability protocol for cross-chain communication across different blockchain environments. It enables message passing and asset transfers across different chains without relying on centralized intermediaries or requiring any permissions.
Hyperlane enables interoperability with Celestia’s rollup ecosystem, much of which may not support IBC. Rollups running any execution environment, whether it’s EVM, the SVM, Move, CosmWasm, can integrate with Celestia and use TIA as a gas token.
By implementing Hyperlane, Celestia rollups can instantly gain access to Hyperlane’s Permissionless Interoperability. Permissionless Interoperability is the freedom to bring a complete set of interoperability features to any blockchain, any appchain, any rollup, anytime. Therefore, rollups will be able to communicate with all existing Hyperlane-connected chains and future Permissionless Deployments, opening them to any ecosystem. With Hyperlane on Neutron, any rollup can get access to TIA for use within rollups as a gas token, in addition to bootstrapping any other assets from Hyperlane-connected chains. All through one Nexus interface.
Hyperlane is the first Permissionless Interoperability layer, enabling anyone to bring the Hyperlane interoperability stack to any blockchain, out-of-the-box. With Hyperlane, developers can build Interchain Applications, apps that abstract away the complexity of interchain interactions and serve users on any connected chain. Additionally, Hyperlane’s modular security stack gives developers the power to customize their interchain security. Hyperlane development is open-source and led by core developers at Abacus Works.
