Bitcoin cash (BCH) Price

Similar to Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is a type of cryptocurrency. As a matter of fact, Bitcoin Cash was a fork that resulted from a chain split caused by a select group of Bitcoin developers who were unhappy with the general direction of Bitcoin's scalability.

Through a second hard fork in November 2018, the Bitcoin Cash community further divided into Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV. A competing software version named Bitcoin Satoshi Vision was offered by the latter group, which was backed by Craig Wright and Calvin Ayre. This version would raise the block size limit to 128MB.

Another hard fork in the Bitcoin Cash occurred on November 15, 2020. The emergence of Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHA) is the result of the fork that happened on block #661647. A miners' tax is a feature of the Bitcoin Cash ABC network, wherein the BCHA developers will get 8% of mining rewards as funding for the development of the protocol.
